IRIS Structure

Stella Man is the project manager, employed to develop and deliver the work. (see below for further details)

We employ free-lance professionals, recruit staff and volunteers to deliver specific projects or contacts.  IRIS strives to employ people and engage volunteers from the area local to the project being delivered thus providing them with work experience or new skills. Our approach also ensures the relevant people are engaged. In 2002 we gained a Community Education Award from Bristol City Council ‘in recognition of the positive impact the Parent Participation Training had on participants and the wider community.’

IRIS is a not-for profit organisation, a company limited by guarantee. Any profits are used to enhance projects undertaken and add value to the funding received.

We specialise in developing innovation, piloting and testing solutions, sometimes acting as a launch pad for groups, when no other organisation or partnership is in place to do so.

IRIS trustees support the organisation’s development and oversee its financial and legal management. Current trustees are Martin Sandbrook, Ruth Ellams, Philip Morgan and Victoria West.
